This program is part of the National Center for Tourism & Hospitality, a career division of National College. Students will receive training for exciting careers with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, travel agencies, restaurants/bars, resorts, theme parks, tour companies, reservation centers, visitor/convention services, and many other travel-related businesses.
As an official test site for The Travel Institute and the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Center provides students an opportunity to earn highly coveted designations and certifications in key skill areas including management, sales & marketing, customer service excellence, and several tourism product knowledge subjects. Computers are used across the curriculum to ensure hands-on experience in the latest technology used by airlines, hotels, and travel agencies. Students gain practical knowledge through an active internship program with local tourism businesses.
The classes in this program can prepare you to successfully complete the Hospitality Skill Certifications and Travel Agent Proficiency (TAP) Designation/Destination Specialist examinations.
