The Culinary Arts Program at Central Arizona College is designed for those interested in becoming cooks or professional chefs in the hospitality, food service or nutrition-related industries. It incorporates food preparation, presentation, nutrition and food-handling safety.
The Hotel and Restaurant Management Program (HRM) combines culinary arts and restaurant management with hospitality and lodging business-related training in skills such as marketing, guest services and hospitality law. Students will leave CAC prepared to take on supervisory and management positions within this rapidly growing industry.
Courses are accredited by the Educational Institute of the America Hotel and Lodging Association, the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association and the Educational Foundation of the American Culinary Federation.
