The mission of the Vermont Lodging & Restaurant Association is to assist our members in the operation of their businesses and to promote the hospitality industry as a vital part of Vermont's economy.
VLRA has
been an
instrumental
player in many
legislative initiatives in Montpelier
and in Washington, D.C.
In Vermont, we lobby and monitor
pending legislation. We often testify
before legislative committees and
represent the industry on pertinent
issues. We are the industry
watchdog. During the legislative
session, VLRA provides members
with a weekly Legislative update.
On a national level, VLRA teams up
with the government affairs staff of
the American Hotel & Lodging
Association (AH&LA) and the
National Restaurant Association
(NRA) to constantly anticipate and
influence trends and legislation of
vital concern to the industry.
